In my '03 I put in the Iridiums. I probably had another year of driving before the original ones were scheduled to be replaced, but I figured I'd do it anyways. Didn't notice a huge increase in power, but my fuel economy increased about 10-15%. With some other maintenance I did around the same time, I increased the fuel economy around 20%, but the spark plugs by far made the biggest difference.
When it was -30°C here a few weeks ago, my '04 Pathy was running very hard for the first 5-10 secs after I started it up. The TB was moderately dirty, so I cleaned it out, but it hasn't been that cold again so I don't know if a dirty TB was the cause. If it does it again, I'll probably swap the plugs out (they have 135,000km on them), otherwise I'll wait until summer when it's nice and warm. Without a heated/insulated garage, it sucks working on vehicles.
