I am using the NGK Iridium IX spark plugs, which I believe are the OEM spec plugs for our cars.

Is anybody using something else? Have you tried anything else?

I'm curious about the NGK Laser Platinum plugs...

I am gonna give the Ngk copper plugs a go. they are super cheap, are about 30 bucks, and have heard really good things about it. The only downfall to the coppers is that they dont last as long as the iridium. The coppers are the stock ones.

Factory plugs are Iridium Tipped. Stick with NGK. Use nothing else.

Well said! I have been told the same thing as well, over and over again. Nissan/Infiniti, stick with NGK.

Of course I stick with NGK.

I was just curious about the differences between the Iradium and Laser Platinum.

IMO Iridium > Platinum

Iridium conducts electricity betterIridum holds the factory gap longerIridum wears longer

I normally would change plugs around 40k I'm planning a 60k change since the G has Iridium.

In a stock motor the factory plug works the best 99% of the time. The only time I would consider a different plug is if you are running nitrous, turbo or super charges and want a plug with a colder range then your current.
