I'd already ordered the manual it's scheduled to deliver today...
I owned a Toyota Corolla it was a 85 or 86. I don't remember it's been awhile.. I used it to run around in the city to keep a lot of city miles off my other car... I was able to "see" (without effort) the location of the sparks plugs on the engine... well, I not only was able to "see" them but I changed them (and the wires, distributor cap, rotor, gas filter, PVC value, etc.) for almost the entire 10 years that I owned that car... So perhaps I didn't ask the question properly because I know that they are housed on the engine but all spark plug locations are not clearly visible. In this case (q45) you have to remove the intake hose & the vacuum hose & the metal bend & the hose on top of that... then the ignitor pack THEN the ornament cover which COVERS the cylinder housing of the SPARK PLUGS; that I couldn't see... So now I know why I couldn't see them as I was able to do on my Corolla... If I had the service manual then I would have saved myself the effort in asking the scary question... I would have read where they were like I did with the link that goody sent me... so now I can go to the car and compare what I read to what I "see" Thanks to someone who helped me "scary" question and all!!! LOL
I can't know until I know and if I don't ask I won't know...and once I know then I can "Trust Me" to work it ALL out! LOL
Again,Thanks Maxnix you've been VERY helpful!
