Its almost time for me to replace the spark plugs in my '01 QX4. It has 92,000KM on it (about 57,000mi). I believe the owners manual reccomends replacing them at about 96,000Km (60,000mi). I plan to replace them with platinum tipped plugs like OEM, but I will probably have it done at an independent shop I use frequently. Does anyone have any advice on what brand to use? Also, if the car is going to be sitting for a few months come fall, is it better to replace them before, or after?

Thanks in advance.

OEM's are made by NGK. They are the best choice so stick with what works as for when to change them it makes little difference.

i did (NGK Iridium IX's)... in my 240sx... its got the KA truck motor so that counts right? It runs so much smoother and better than the Bosch Plat +4s the previous owner used
