hey just a quick question, is there supposed to be oil on the spark plug when its taken out, i took em out and there was oil on one of em, not on the part that gets spark but the bottom part that screws into motor. If not what causes this?

Could be from a leaking valve cover.

Could also be drip down from a oil change. Atleast on the VQ35DE that is possible. During fill-up, oil can drip down into the valve cover on Cylinder #2, seap under the plug boot down to the spark plug threads.

yea must be a leak because its on the one that is on the far side away from the oil filler. Is this something i have to fix right away if so how much does the gasket cost?
