Changing the plugs on the Y33 is not easy. Unless others have positive experience about NGK Iridium plugs, I'd stick with the OEM plugs.

WADR,

Changing the spark plugs on a y33 (or whatever you want to call a 97-00 or is it o1???) qBomb isn''t as hard as some would have you believe. It's not an old bug or straight 6, but your average nimrod with some common sense and a modicum of experience can handle this job if he uses his head and works diligently and deliberately.

Not to you rine ate on anyone's personal barbeeq, just trying to offer a different opinion.

I tossed the OEM plugs in my ride about two years and 30K ago. Pretty easy, and great results. It took me about 3 hours, but I was in no rush and taking my time to lube connectors, clean, etc. This afternoon I stomped on the old gal at a red light with the transmission in 1. At 6K I pushed for 2 and at 6K I pushed for D.

Mofo got up an went and the engine was screamin without a hiccup or hiccdown. So, what'snot to like wiff dem Origginil plugs??

Am I missing sumpin?
