Spark Plug Wires Pop Up

Has anyone had a problem with aftermarket Spark Plu wires popping off? I seat them by hand, but within a few hours a couple will pop up enough that they're not making contact anymore with the plug. Get out, push it down, it's fine. But a pain. And they're deep in the head so I can't see what's happening.

you didnt mention what type of car you have. So your relying on le to use my ESP here..........

So its a 240 early 90's. yes the plug wires will pop up if they are cheap aftermarket brand. You can either replace them with factory or pinch those ones with pliers where the clip is in the boot for the plug. then see if it stays in place.

this happened to my g20,sr20de,after putting on aftermarket wires,replaced with factory wires,problem disappeared.

Oops, yes, it's a 1992 240SX. So I'll try pinching them before I replace altogether.

I got Aurora aftermarket wires and I have no problems with them popping off.
