I agree, kind of a ghey question, but what are you KA-T guys runnin? I dont want to spend more than is necessary. Probably going to run 12psi tops on the motor.

Thanks

You are going to want more fuel (bigger injectors) and spark with 12 psi. I personnally think thats alot especially with stock internals... Get those Nology "hotwires" everyone talks about and the new coil. A couple of the moderators around here said good stuff about them. But theres not really a need for more spark unless you get more fuel.

I'd say get some sort of 8mm wire and you'll be good to go.

I think i got the 370's off NICO classifieds if im not mistaken. I always thought those nology wires sounded kinda gimmicky and $150 for some plug wires sounds kinda steep

I've had great results with the NGK wires. the KA-T runs great witht them. I also have a Mallory HyFire 6A (MSD 6A clone) and a MSD blaster SS coil.

Yea, I got NGK's. Just make sure they don't crossfire, because I've had problems like that.

My stock wires work just fine.

Nology wires do increase the peak spark energy, but since the total energy is still limited to how quickly the coil can charge, the spark itself has no more energy than stock. It just realeases the spark energy at a much shorter interval. I've heard of cases where it's both made some power and where it actually hurt performance. Optimally, you would want a hotter spark with about the same duration as stock. I have seen some use Nology wires with an MSD and have extremely good results(relative of course). Funny thing was he took it off when he went to sell the car and it ran like crap.

You may want to think twice about getting Nology wires... Read on the following, and then make your decision:

Hit "Brief overview..." and "The truth...". Some real good knowledge about ignition wires.
