spark plug wire keeps popping out..?

it just starting happening today, it just pops off when i give it throttle. It's the second closest plug to the firewall (cylinder #2?) thats doing it, it's not completely popping off but it doesn't "grab" on to the spark plug all the way. Am i right to say it's a defective/broken sparkplug wire? (they were just recently purchased)

Put the wire in a different cylinder. If it pops out then you have a defective wire.

Just curious, what brand of plug wires did you get?

pull your plug out and make sure the mount ring on the plug and the cyl plug lip is clean of debri and retorque it. then look into the wire boot see if you can squeeze the metal clip a little tighter. reinstall it and recheck it.
