spark plug tool and 01+ door sills question

another question from yours truly. i still dont have a spark plug tool...i saw a "spark plug tool" at canadian tire for $10 and it basically was this long thingy with a u-joint thingy at the end that makes it curve easily at different angles.....is this what i need?

another question...the 01+ qx4's have these KICK *** door sills at the floor where u open the door...their brushed aluminum and say infiniti on them...i saw a kit on ebay but its universal and plain.....you guys think the 01+ door sills would fit? id go on a hunt for some from a scrap q!

not a Q owner...but im pretty certain they would fit remember same body..same door panel same dimensionsso its gotta fit
