my spark plugs threads on cylinder 3 are ****ed and i can't really do much, I can't run the car cuz the spark wont get tight in and motor runs like *** and wont stay running.

how can i repair this without going to a machine shop and having the head pulled off.

I wanted to use the spark plug re-thread tool but hten i'll get shavings everything. What do i do?

Thats the problem with aluminum heads and threads. Can't magnetize em to get the shavings out. Sorry I cant offer a miracle. If you need to drive the car dont forget to unplug the fuel injector as well.

Wellll.......... If I were you, i'd tap and re-thread... now... i'd also whip out my trusty Sakumoto magnet... it's about 2 1/2 feet long and it's like the snake, you can bend it any way you want... it will pick up the metal shavings from off of the top of the piston. There's really no other way to do it... As you're tapping it... stick the magnet right down on it so when you turn it.. it pushes the shavings towards you and the magnet takes it... if you have a vaccum cleaner... get smart and grab the hose attachment and find a smaller tube and tape it to the extension attachment ... U can do it.. just make sure you tape it good and it's vaccum tight!!! Stick that thing down in there and let it suck all the extra up for a minute ... re do the magnet thing just to make sure there aren't any left in there. U really don't have any other simple choice. you could always take the head off and do it that way ... but i'd try doing what I said first.

hey everyone... its not stripped out... i got a new plug and it went in fine and got tight... the metal crushers on the plug i guess had something to do with it.

That would be a mistake. Don't blame NGK.

it wasn't NGK's fault it was user-error that i came flying out and almost poping a hole in your hood. NGK's are the best plugs for the KA'sI know beause I used them before but right now I got ****ty Boosch plugs in and I could notice better spark with the ngk's
