I have a 06 M35 Sport and I'm possibly going to change out the spark plugs. First of all I wanted to ask what type spark plug would be best for performance and is there a specific torque setting when putting in the new spark plugs? Also, I wanted to find out some general info on the spark plug wires. I'm having a little difficulty finding new ones and wanted to ask which ones you would recommend and where to find them?

Thanks

:welcome: to NICO!

Infiniti/Nissan engines tend to perform best with OEM spark plugs. I would go with the specified OEM NGK Platinum spark plug with part number PLFR5A-11. The plugs are fed by individual spark plug coil packs that sit on top of the plugs, so that's why you can't find wires. The torque specs are 18ft/lb for the plug and 61in/lb for the coil pack retaining bolts.

For more information, you can consult your factory service manual, available at http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/ - specifically page EM-43 - as well as your owner's manual. If you don't have the owner's manual, it's available at http://www.infiniti-techinfo.com
