which spark plugs do you prefer to have in your ka-t and which step?I'm planning to get some exhaust manifold gaskets, valve cover rubber gaskets, and new sparkplugs before I start turboing my KA in 2 days. I'm thinking about getting just the regular NGK. any suggestions?

NGK BKR7E-11. Just like the plugs that came stock in the 240, only 2 steps colder.

For some reason , my spark plug got bend ( it got beat up somehow) is it because it was denate ? or something hitting the spark plug? It was Irdium , can I regap it or I have to replace to a new one? I am thinking to go back to Copper if it is as good? I'm runnning 10 psi stock internal

For mild boost, and street driving, the stock heat range will work. For more aggressive driving, perhaps 1 step colder. It's a good idea to read your plugs to determine if it's not hot enoughto self clean the plug electrodes or if it is too hot and may be overheating. Going 2 steps colder should probably be reserved for the track with high boost. Too cold a plug may be susceptible to fouling.

As far as gapping an iridium plug, you can regap it, but make sure to use a feeler or wire type gauge. DO NOT use the automatic gappers that push the ground electrode down onto the appropriate spacer. The irridium may come off when you try to remove the gapping tool.

NGK BKR6E-11 on the same gap they came with, works great at 7psi with some new Accel plug wires :)

7's were too cold for my KA-T at 14+psi. The 6's work great.

i have never come across that number before...probably for another type of car. Just a thought though, there are several suggestions on the correct type of plug for a KA above your post.....READ! Then pick one of those and buy them.
