Spark plug question

I was wondering what a spark plug should look like if it is still in good shape when I take it out of my engine. I took one of them out and it was completely black on the end. Is this ok or should I replace them, also If I should replace them then what should I replace it with??

if u are going to replace them, use the regular NGK-R plugs for your application...available at any pepboys.
