I am looking for new spark plugs and wires, so I searched this site for some info on multi-electrode or 4 pronged spark plugs and vcame up with nothing. I have a 1997 240sx, intake and exhaust, and my question is: Are the 4 pronged spark plugs better then the single pronged ones? If so why or why not. Thank you for your input.

I personally have ran the 2 prong and single prong spark plugs in my single cam and noticed no difference. I had the same mods as you and I think at this level of tuning a 4 prong is not needed. The multiple prong spark plugs, to my knowledge, are suppose to produce better spark which will more completely burn all the fuel in the process of ignition. Thats something that I would think only a fully build motor would require.

if you're talkin bout bosch +4 platinums, I've had nothing but trouble with those. they don't seem to work well in Nissans from my experience.

stay w/ single side electrode plug designs... they've been proven.

if you want to justify on spending more $$$, then go w/ platinums or iridiums

PS: is http://www.sparkplugs.com still a sponsor?
