Today I went to the dealer to get a spark plugs and a thermostat. The spark plugs the parts guy gave me was PFR5G-11. I the thought the car called for PFR6B-11 as the standard plug. He said PFR5G-11 is what the car takes. So are these PFR5G-11 going to work ok?

yes,I believe thats what came installed standard from the factory.Optional heat range plugs{6 & 7} were available at the dealers to fine tune motors with issues due to operating conditions{short trips and severe climate conditions mainly}

In NY I would run 5 intead of the cooler 6. Early G50 came with 6 heat range, later with 5.

Yo I an new to thee 45 club. I just bought a 94 Q and i have a long list of things to fix. i will add a pic soon.. Display on radio doesn't work but OE chnger is still good. The heater diplay seems not to have memory, and now it doesn't operate the blower, i checked the blower and it is still good. while i supplied power to the blower when i selected differnt options like defog, floor, or vent air just came out everywhere. the car bounces like i'm riding on four basketballs, and the dealer wants $350 per strut without active suspension. what else? I just finished all hoses under the plenteum the feul and the colant bypass hoses were leaking, replace the trans with a "rebuild"? from the junkyard, i pulled the pan on the trans and i have to admit, it was in good shape. but that has been the only part i could find in the mid-west. I need front driving lights that are underneath the bumper. I heard that there is key-fob availible. I am full of ideas about my Q, like running true dual exaust that still quiet, removing cat convertors, and gi iving the car better cornering ability. will NGK or nippendenso plugs work? What plug is best? Oh Yeah the memory seat doesn't work either.. I still got hope because in it's current position the car is still a head turner i my town.. PLEASE help the new kid on the Blockhttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zeropost?cmd=reply&id=2732713#zer...32713#http://forums.nicoclub.com/zer...32713#

WElocme Mr. Rico!

First thing to do is to go to the rear of your car and read the lettering on the trunk.

Next, read the OM. It is available at http://www.nissan-techinfo/infininti/ for a free Acrobat download if you don't have it. You can also download the FSM and TSB for a one day subscription. The FSM is free here: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Q45/

Next, start reading all posts by Q45tech and follow links therein.

Your questions will be answered and you will be on your way to restoring your G50 economically as possible.

Your fog lights are best new from Joe and his crew as they all get damged so none good used.
