You want an explanation well here ya go. Energy tends to travel down the least resistent path, right? Well think about it. Even with a custom ignition system you're going to have a very hard time getting all four electrodes on the 4+ plugs to arc. So you end up with a sort of misfire and the plugs foul up faster. I have NGKs in my other car and they rock. Iridium has a much higher melting point than platinum too. This is for Bosch :slap

ive been runing the bosch x4 plat in my car for the better part of 2 years now and have had no problems with them. they run just as good as every thing else.

my plugs have no soot or carbon on them other then what u would tipicaly find on a plug that has been run for a few years.

Personally ide go with what ever floats your boat. In the end there both gonna do the same job.

NGK hands down.Most race teams run the simple spark plugs because of the lower foul rate and reliability.

besides, they come stock on your car... why go against Nissan's recommendation?

Have to go with NGK as well.I have you used NGK's since the first S13,and still use them on the S14 SR
