Hey wondering if anybody could help me out with the part number for Denso Iridium 1 step colder spark plugs. For the S13 Sr20det or the Sr20de. I appreciate any help.

thanks

http://www.densoiridium.com/findmypart.php

this is where i went on denso's site, but the specs page isn't coming up for me (404 error), so I can't tell you exactly what part number, except that it's an IK20 (i'm assuming that might be the part number)

I bought some spark plugs off of ebay and the number says IK22. Did they send me the wrong ones? Anybody know anything about identifying the application of the Denso Iridium spark plugs?

i found that the xterra I4 2.4L and V-6 3.3L use IK22's. What's weird though is that the IK20 is also listed for the 3.3L V-6. The plug you were sold will not fit your SR though

that sucks. But is it possible that the plugs I was sent are for the sr20det? I say that because the applications on that web page are all USDM. Is it a possibility that I was sent JDM plugs and that they have a diffirent part number?

you need to find a plug that will fit a 91 Sentra SE-R (2.0 liter). That part number is IK20. The IK22 is not the part you lare looking for. I doubt that the theory of JDM plugs is valid as Denso wouldn't have a reason for changing such a simple part number

Ok I contacted the seller and this is what he told me:

"for the stock heat range we send IK20's, you ordered one stag colder, so we sent the IK22's. thats why "

is this information accurate? Anyone know where I can confirm this?

from the denso site. Unfortunately i dont think the forums will allow me to space this into a table, so you will have to line it up on your own.

Plug # Stock # Thread Dia Thread Reach Hex Gap (mm) Gap (in)

IK16 5303 14 19 16 1.1 0.044 IK20 5304 14 19 16 1.1 0.044 IK22 5310 14 19 16 0.8 0.032 IK24 5311 14 19 16 0.8 0.032 IK27 5312 14 19 16 0.8 0.032 IK31 5321 14 19 16 0.8 0.032 IK34 5322 14 19 16 0.8 0.032

according to your info the IK20 and the IK22 have the same thread diameter right? so then it will fit but will it work? I dont see any difference other than the stock number and the gap size.

thanks for your help.

i found another section of the denso site that explains that the number is the heat range. higher the number, colder the plug.

edit: lets put it this way, i ordered a set of Ik22s earlier today.
