I have a question about the gasket between the valve cover and the sparkplug holes. Are you supposed to apply a layer of liquid gasket on it or just the main valve cover gasket? I didn't put on any the first time and had a small ammount of oil come out of the center bolt at the rear of the valve cover, when I took it apart again it seemed that oil was comming in thru the gasket where the bolt goes in the head. thx

You shouldn't apply liquid gasket if you already have a gasket. If it's leaking, you need to replace the gasket.

yeah, and even then only put the liquid gasket on the "plugs." It's not even that necessary to apply, but thats how Nissan does it, so you should too
