Hey. First post. I'm an ase certified auto tech in Pennsylvania. I have an s13 with a stock rb 25 s2 motor, turbo, and injectors. Boost is at 9psi. I have the plugs gaped at 8 now. I have read through so many threads on this and get a ton oh different answers. I also have the coils coated with no signs of bleeding but stil have some cutting out at around 4700. My turbo to manifold gasket has a slight leak wich doesn't help ( new one is on the way), but just wanted to get your imput on it. Thanks in advance for your knowledge and experience. .... oh plugs are ngk bkr7e

Show how new I am haha. There is ca18 in us cars???. Never heard that. One other thibg I have found while we are talking about the issue in having. The locks on the turbo mounting nuts akllowed them to back off to where I couldn't hear an exhaust leak but actually caused some severe turbo surge under boost.

Narrowing things down a little. I gapped them back to 1.1 and as I thought it got worse. Just going to wait til I get the new turbo to manifold gasket to rule out that.
