When I went to O'reilly's I asked for the NGK OEM plug. It's possible that they gave me the wrong ones...
I called out a mobile mechanic and he tapped in a solid insert into the head. In the process, he pulled all 3 rear coil packs and noted that the coil pack on cylinder one separated from the rubber boot and left it in the hole. I had this same problem on coil #3 when I replaced the plugs back in March. When I started the car, Cylinder #1 is now misfiring. I have a feeling that the coilpacks are just dying out and maybe the issue with the #3 plug was a compound issue (bad coilpack and bad threads). I'm going to get another coil pack into cylinder #1 and see how things go from there.
