I changed my plugs (OE Denso) and about 100 miles later I got the p0455 code for a large EVAP leak. I rechecked my work and couldn't find anything amiss. Cleared the code and per the FSM cleaned the threads on the filler neck and the gas cap (original OE). Light came back on after about 100 miles again. Cleared the code. Now it has not come back in about 250 miles.

I thought maybe the filler cap needed replacement, but not so sure now.

Thoughts?

Not sure...I've never heard of the filler cap causing any codes. Post up if the code comes back. How was the plug change? You may have bumped a connector??

Verify/clean/test the gas cap are the first troubleshooting steps in the SM.

lol, I thought you were talking about the oil filler cap in the engine bay! You probably just need a new fuel filler cap.
