So today i changed out my main Engine harness because my old one had a short in it and everytime i moved my ECU my car would die. Anyway i got the new harness and installed it and now for some reason i only get spark out of cylinder 2. I had it running very rough and all of a sudden another cylinder kicked in but only briefley. I also just installed a brand new OEM Ignitor chip.... Any ideas would be greatly appriciated!

dude id love to come and help you out. but im sure you know more about the sr than i do. i dont even have mine running yet but if you need any help let me know. but like the dude said it might be your coilpacks, spark plugs, and coilpack harness. but how did you check to see if you had spark on the #2 cylinder? did you use the old fashion screwdriver in the coilpack grounded to the valve cover trick?

ok well from what you are saying , what ecu are you runing , and what harness there is a difference between the j4 /j5 and the j2 , j3 , e4 and e5

also can you tell me if when you crank the engine does the rpm gauge move and if so what does it do
