i'm getting spark to the plugs and relays click but no fuel pump prime? so i think the ecu has power and its not a question of my wiring. i just rewired my s14 sr with the video, but its a zenki and my check engine light doesnt come on.

i checked all the fuses and they were good. the fuel sensor is getting power but the fuel pump gets none, is there a relay on the chasi harness for the fuel pump that is not getting activated maby? i still dont know for sure if the ecu is powering on but like i said, i get spark sooo........

Pull the full pump relay and see if you have power to the pin in the fuse box, is so swap the relay with another one thats the same and see if you get the pump to prime

ok, here is what i get with the multimeter. the relay looks something like this.

1----------3[-----------][-----------][-----------][-----------]__2----4__

i switched the relay with the egi relay next to it, i've herd this relay click before when i grounded the red/black wire comming from the brown plug, and nothing.

i get power to pins 3 and 4, pin two tests continous with the positive fuel pump wire and reads something like 00.1 voltage, 3 and 4 are 11.5v.

the fuel pump fuse gets 11.5v's as well.

wire 1 doesnt show anything, it is not continous with the ground off the battery, has no voltage, and is not continous with the negative wire on the fuel pump-o-matic...

i then unpluged the relay and tested continuinity between pin one and the signal wire for the fuel pump, the black with purple striped wire running to the ecu. i then pluged the relay back in and it showed up as 10.5v. so

1----------3[-----------][-----------][-----------][-----------]__2----4__

pin one: ecu fuel pump signal. pin two: positive fuel pump wirepin three: some something that reads 11.5vpin four: something that reads 11.5v

the top of the relay shows a little coil thing between one and two, and a broken bridge between 3 and 4, which it calls 3 and 5

thats about all the info i have but should be understandable to someone more skilled in the art of wiring than i.

and without the relay pluged in i get no voltage to the ecu fuel pump wire. but i still get voltage to the fuel pump fuse. and nothing shows up as being a ground on any of this...i think i'm going to go get gas and try jumping the connection between 2 and 3 or 4 to see if i can get this thing to run damn it.

Before I go on to anything, I'm not responsible if your harness goes bad or you fry your ecu or your car blows up or whatever, but here is what you should at least TRY.

1. Locate the pink/black wire coming from the EGI relay2. Cut it3. Get an ECU pinout ( http://www.kouki.co.uk/referen...nouts ) and locate the Fuel Pump Relay, pin #18 on your ECU plug. It will be a yellow/black wire4. Connect the pink/black and yellow/black wires. DO NOT solder them until you have tested it and have made sure that this does/doesn't work for you.

This is what I did after I completed my swap and it has worked fine ever since. It seems to be something with notch tops getting swapped into s13's that causes this. I am not saying this will definitely fix your problem because you very well may have something else going on, but like I said, you should at least try it to see if it works. Hope this helps Good luck with the rest of your swap!

Check the ground at the pump, logic tells you that if you have power at the pump and its not working then you dont have ground.

If you have power and ground then the pump is bad, simple as that.

I would pull the sending unit and inspect, then maybe jump power and ground to the pump after you remove it to ensure that the pump is good.
