I'm running into an issue where my engine is having problems keeping the spark alive at 6500+ RPM. I've already gapped down the plugs, so now I'm looking at the coils. I think it was SCC that had mentioned they were having spark problems, and went with upgraded coils.

Is it possible that my turbo is causing the car to sputter and fall off? I'm still running the stock T25. It seems to me that the car should keep pulling though, right? Or is it one of those things where once you're past your turbo efficiency range, all sorts of weird things start happening?

Miles on your car? What type of plugs are you using (what is the gap)? Aftermarket Spark plug wires?

When was the last time you changed the distributor/battery?

Is your alternator acting funny?

Spark plug wires? whaaaa? Distributor?whhhaaaa? were are not KA24's here, we have direct igniton here....non of that old ish, Here do this get rid of your crappy platuims, which im guess you have from your simptons and pick up a set of NGK Copper V power BCPR6E-11 gap to .28 and see if your problem goes away it should. It works for alot of people, a set of these plugs will run from 7 bucks or so, just have to replace them every few months

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll go out and get some of those. I figure it's gotta be the plugs, or the turbo being too small. Hopefully the plugs will do it.
