spark and PTU

ok so does anyone know if my ptu is bad will i get spark??..............i am now getting spark however im getting ignition system code i think its 21 but anyways i thought i tested my ptu correclty and i did not get an ohm reading........i just do not want to buy a ptu if i really dont have to......thanks

Any other Zer's near by? I'd swap it with a known working one. Have you checked out the FSM section here?

are you using the 200k ohm setting to test it?

well thats the thing what is the best setting to have my meter set on thats where i get a little confused and what is FSM??.......thanks

factory service manual, i forget which setting to use for the ptu, i think its in the 3ohm range so, just click through the settings while its hooked until you get a reading like that...
