i have a spare tire , the type that is under the bumper/vehicle .
its loose and wobbly. looking at a older model qx4{1999} parked on the steet i
noticed that there are some rubber pieces that hold the tire in place.
mines seem to be missing .
i tried looking at courtesy parts but couldnt find it.
im not too sure but i believe they are called spare tire stopper?/
what is the part numbers i need to order this ??? im not trying to go to my local dealer {rip off artists}

I know exactly what you're talking about; I was just looking at them this weekend. I took a look at Courtesy and found what I believe is them. Looking at the third diagram down, I think it's the 57276EA and 57276EB parts. I'd give them a call and confirm.

You can just tighten your spare up a bit and it should be fine. I have run like that for over a year and have had no problems with wobbling or lowering the spare.

P/N 01553-09321 (57210H in the parts diagram, but the part has been superseded to 01553-2DR9A). They're all over eBay. It's a common part for Nissans used on bumpers, wheel well liners, and other exterior/interior trim pieces. If you look in those locations, you'll probably see some missing. Buy a few.

I also had to replace the ones for my spare.

I bought a pack of push-retainers from Amazon to fix one of the rubber stoppers underneath my truck.

You can find them here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0093R ... detailpage

Measure the hole where the push-retainer would go to make sure it's the right size. Mine measured 8mm.

I used the other push retainers to fix other plastic sheaths or covers that were missing the retainers.

Good luck!
