Ok this a easy one i hope.

i assume long as i keep any aftermarket rim/wheel close to OEM spec the spare tire will work.

And from what i can see 225/50/17 the spare of 135/90/16 seems closer to that than the OEMs 215/60/16 any ways.

I only ask this becuase every time i assume i am ALLWAYS wrong so i try not to assume any more, gets me in trouble hehe.

What are you asking? If your spare tire will fit with aftermarket wheels and tires?

Spares are TEMPORARY... you shouldnt be driving on them.

Get a extra tire from DTD or somewhere if your nervous, and require flatbed towing

Ok i asked the question wrong, every body got the message that i planned to drive on the spare tire lol.

What i ment was lets say i get a flat and im in the middle of no where, im gonna be ok useing the spare tire wich is the same diamater of aftermarket wheel/rim to get to some place safe?

Reason i asked cuz i assume even if you temporarly drive on it, but its not the same size as the other 3 wheels, some damage will be caused?

Take a look at your spare... its filled to 60 PSI. Its huge. I compared it to my new aftermarket 18s and they are not far apart in size. Your stock tires and your spare are not the same to begin. You should be fine in short distances until you can get the your flat fixed or whatever the case may be

yes if you are on the road with your new rims and your tire pops you can use your spare to get to a tire shop and get your new tire fixed. that seemed more like what you were asking than what anyone else said.

now, I am getting new 20x8.5 wheels and 245/35/20's on friday. If I got a flat and used my spare(just to get somewhere safe) Would it mess up my new rims?

P.S. I have a coupe
