Spare tire replacement
I'm used to having a full spare tire in my car. I went from an 04 m45 to an 08 m45 and just wondering if I purchased an additional full size wheel would it fit into the spare tire compartment? Thanks

I believe it won't but don't quote me on that. I don't think I'd be able to fit a full spare in my 2011.

Hmm...I had a full size spare in my '06 M45 Sport, so 19 inch rim/tire. Someone needs to confirm.

I believe that there was a kit that allowed the full-size spare to be stored in the trunk. It raised the height of the trunk floor (using styrofoam or something) so that the trunk floor would stay level with the spare, obviously wider than th3 space saver spare. I have tried looking for one of these kits, as I have a spare 19” wheel, but no luck. Can anyone else confirm this?
