spare is on /stupid f***in ny potholes

so i had a side wall blow out damn potholes why wont they fix all the damn craters.

I'm guessing its a front tire, which would also mean it was not one of the tires you just purchased. Maybe where you got the two rears will cut you a rate. A pothole that big represents a bigger issue though - you need to check your wheel for damage.

I know (sort of) how you feel. I had to get one of my Bridgestone 960's patched last week after I picked up some scrap metal from a construction site in my neighbourhood. It will get replaced for reliability reasons as soon as I rotate my summer tires back on. At least I could get a temp fix for mine, there's no fixing a damaged sidewall though.

ive gotten wheels replaced by new york state before i dont know if they will replace tires. i dont remember exactly who i called but theres a chance you may be able to get it replaced.they may have changed things though with this recession. make sure you take pictures of said hole if you can you will need proof.

try living in ohio. where they knowits a bigass pothole but we wont fix it we'll just put some gravel and orange cones near it. and like the other guy said check for wheel I worked at a tire shop and there were some many f***ed up rims from pot holes...i sawthis guys rim that some how got a hole the size of a silver dollar in it no crack nothing just a bigass hole (no pun intended)

rim is fine it was a rear picked up a new one for $50. i couldn't believe that they call that a spare i was better leaving the f***ed up tire on. on a side note im in the running for classes nicest car at my school competers are a is300 68 stang 05 sti 02 wrx that looks like an sti

Yep, totally true. When I lived there I had (2) 240sx's. 1 for driving and 1 for parts. It got to the point where I would hit random potholes so deep that it'd crumple my front fender. So I'd put on the spare fender, bang out the old one and wait till I hit another pothole. I must've swapped the fenders around on that at least 5 times.
