spare block and head

i want to get a spare block and head and start building them, do you know if i could just go pull a ca18de out of a pulsar? i dont want to spend a bunch of money ordering another ca18det so any suggestions?

you could. I ahve been told that the head on the early DE, the one likely in the pulsar has an inferior port design. I don't know if that is true but it is something to research. The DE block has no piston oilers.

I have a spare CA18DET laying around, minus the turbo/ex. manifold.

how much do you want for it, all i need is a bare block/ head, and maybe the crank
