Sparco Sprint into S14?

Today i purchased a Sparco Sprint

has anyone here modified their stock seat bracket to work with the Sprint seat? If so, could you please tell me exactly what was involved with this?

I just helped a friend install the other seat into HIS car (corolla). This proved to be fairly difficult, and we ended up having to leave it mounted poorly. He's gonna get a premade bracket for his from Wedge Engineering. I would like to know if it's possible for me to modify my brackets to work with the seat.

why not buy a bracket for the seat?

Bomex, he probably didn't buy the sparco bracket because they sit up way to high. At 6' I have about have an inch between my head and the roof in my 240 with a sparco seat and bracket. I can't remember the type of seat I have. It's a torino but wider and with a different name.

i got the seat used, it didnt have a bracket. I've seen people modity their stock sliders to work with sparcos before so i was wondering if anyoen has done the same in this situation. I will probably just go ahead and order the bracket though

it can be done, you just need a drill and some bolts lol. this is on an s13.







remove the actual seat off the rails and put the rails in the car put the sparco in for measurement and try to mark where you need to drill for the bolts. i have a Corbeau A4 with brackets on my s14 and i tried to put that on the s13 and it was sitting high. the sparco with stock s13 rails is lower and i have a lot of head room to spare .
