Hey guys,
So today I picked up some Sparco seats and harness belts for $250 it was a deal i couldnt pass up. the guy i bought them from had them in a civic and the way he had them mounted he welded metal to the seat rails and made it line up with the holes. I thought about doing that by cutting the factory seat mounts and welding them on but im a little sketchy about cutting my factory seats and then it not work. could anyone give me some tips as to make these fit? i dont want to drill new hole either just yet. or could someone give me a link to an existing forum and a site for maybe some kind of seat rail for sparco and a 89 240sx?? :tisk:

any help will be greatly appreciated :wavey:

bottom mount or sidemount seat? Wedge engineering makes a bottom mount seat rail. if you want the seat to be on rails you will need to buy them as well... I have a set that were used for about a month if you need them

too bad i dont have pictures but when i bought my car it had aftermarket seats it in. the last owner cut the tabs off the old bracket, you know, the 4 tabs with the bolt holes. and then welded them on to his own custom bracket. and theyre super low. seems pretty easy. if you really want i can get you a picture tommorow.

yea thats what i was thinking about doing and then welding my factory tabs to the sparco seat but i dont want to go cutting on my factory seats just yet and the sparco rails arent as wide as the factory holes
