Has the Infiniti Race Stories thread been deleted?

So as all good race stories start "I was sitting at a light minding my own business".....

When I see a set of HID's blazing up behind me. I'm in the LH turn lane to make a u turn, so is he. The light turns green, I make my turn and politely get in the right lane, he roars up behind me & was being nice enough to give my car a free prostate exam. He then moved to the left lane & leered at me as he was passing. I must have been going slower than 30 mph at that point, because I punched it & the car downshifted to 1st & lunged forward in all it's 4 valve V8 symphony. I saw a grin on his face as I was just next to him by this time turn to amazement & disgust as I shot past him at the higher end of 2nd gear.

At the next light, there was a truck waiting in the RH lane, and that's where I was so I slowed to stop. The Lex waited back in the left lane, then flicked his brights to allow me over. I gave him the thumbs up and went about my business.

I then got back in the RH lane, as the road narrows to a single lane, he slloowwwwly crept past in the left lane & slowed for a LH turn, as I passed, he honked & was laughing in a "Oh, man, that really sucked, you got me." kind of way. Another thumbs up & a wave & I was off like a prom dress.

I know the IS300 isn't that fast, but with the inline 6, they're pretty torquey, like 210hp I believe?

Orca doesn't pick fights, but doesn't run either. (providing the situation is at least somewhat defendable from a location/traffic standpoint)

No right way to do a wrong thing though.

Beating a Lexus other than maybe an late model 98 or + SC400/LS 400 is nothing to brag about.

I didn't say I was King of the Road, Tech. I did some research & they're supposedly good for 15.3 in the 1/4, also, apparently they're a 5spd, not a 6.

This one was a Sportline, with intake & exhaust.

Like I said, no biggie, I dusted his britches badly though, *several* lengths before I let off.

My car had a full tank, 3 25lb baby seats, one passenger, etc.

We did tb/wp, etc job on a 95(?) SC400, I wasn't that impressed.

The really nice GS isn't sold here but I sat in one in Ft/ Lauderdale, it was a 98 with the Supra 3.0 TT with an auto RHD.

ahh....I spanked a Audi 1.8T this evening. Don't know at all what the turbo does for those cars as I walked all over him from 0mph till 90mph. I can't imagine that car without the turbo....let alone I can't believe the guy wanted to race me to begin with. We were at the light and I guess he got excited about hearing my exhaust and thought that I was a little dog with lots of bark....little did he know my exhaust was not only for sound but because the car moves.....

Notice I said 98 and later SC with VVTi 290 HP and 300 lb/ft and 3760 pounds and a 5 speed with a 11.2:1 1st gear x diff ratio.........Massive front 4 piston calipers and 32 mm thick 12" rotors. The SC400 is the sleeper because so many 92-97 SLUGS are around with 4 speed AT and 250 HP.........the "look" was old and sales really slumped 98-2000 til the new convt SC430 came out..........0-60= 6.2 and 14.7/97 in quarter.

Really nice sleeper since so many Supra TT suspension parts interchange easily even the LSD diff. Unfortunately a 7 year old - 98 with 100k sells for $15.5 private party [dealer $18k].

My favorite of all the Lexi, the car the Nissan failed to build maybe a coupe M45 someday.
