Hi guys,

I've got a 2013 M56xS with the stock 20" alloys. 20x9 +43. In interested in trying a set of spacers to decrease the offset.....maybe 10mm or 15mm?

I've seen posts that say to check your wheels and see if you have the recess space between the bolts on the back pad of the wheels. I've checked mine and the back pad is not solid, but, the recess between them is only about 3 or 4 mm I would guess. It looks pretty minimal to me. Is that the size of the recess people were mentioning?

What depth of recess on the stock wheels (if any) have you guys seen, and what should I be looking for?

Dont know if this will help you but here it goes.

I run 20mm ichiba spacers that use longer studs to mount up.to fit my aftermarket rims.for winter i run my stock sport 20s.for me to take studs out to take spacers out to run stock is a waste of time.so i leave them in.heres pics.stock rim looks flush.i only have them in the front.cuz they are not needed for my aftermarket rims.

I personally would only use spacers thst you replace studs with.not the bolt ons

Ichiba spacers..stud replacement. Takes your old studs out and uses stronger longer studs with spacers.and hub centric fitment for prefect fitment

Why do you recommend against the ones that use secondary studs?

I just trust 1 bolt rather than two bolts bolted together.your basically bolting your wheel to a SPACER then a spacer to a hub.with the bolt on version....just doesnt seem safe at all.the ones i have are 1 bolt.which are a stronger stud then oem studs.you replace all your studs.slide on spacers.put rim on torque it down.drive a bit and re torque it.

I usually run 20MM on all my Nissan products for a flush set up. But with horrible LA curbs - i did 15mm up from and 20mm back with extended studs. Still has the effect but without having to worry about wheel repair.

Does anyone have a video on how to replace the suds on an M56? I just bought 20 inch OEM wheels for my M56 and the spacers will be here today. 20mm in rear and 15 mm in front. do I have to disassemble much to add these? They are the ones with single studs so have to replace the stoock studs.
