Has anyone used a spacer between the crank and the 300ZX flywheel, I ask 'cause the flywheel looks to far from the starter. I have a adapter plate and a machined bell-housing.

I have mine in but not sure if there will be issues down the road.

Thanks,Matt

If you are using the Mazworx adaptor, all you need is the small spacer that was with the stock flexplate. Put this behind the flywheel and all will be fine. It's about 1/16" thick.

Thanks, I did that spacer.

I'm having issues though.

The clutch is grabbing at the bottom, and doesn't have any play at the top, matter of fact, i had to let out the stopping bolt on the pedal asmb. When the car gets to normal operating temp, the clutch seems to be slipping because the pressure of the fluid seem to be forcing the clutch to disengage. When the car is cold it doesn't do this. I thought it was air in the lines, but I've run about a quart through it bleeding the system out till I'm blue in the face.

I don't want to pull the trans out till I have a good area to focus on, otherwise I fear that I will be pulling this out many times in the near future.

I'm using S13 master and slave cylinders, and a stainless braided line. I think I'm getting air in it but I don't know where from. Everything on the clutch hydraulics are new, so.....

ThanksMatt
