Looking to get some 10mm spacers soon. Are there any brands I should look for? And I've been seeing pricing around $100 for 2 which is more than I was expecting, is that the norm?

I'm running universal spacers as recommended by some NICO members. They're pretty good. $100 is kinda too much tho, where do you see these prices?

Can you send me a link to the ones your using please? Ya I was thinking $100 seemed a little steep, I've been seeing it everywhere.

That's normal for 10mm. I paid $90 for brand new Ichiba version 1 spacers. http://www.vexmotorsports.com/Ichiba--1 ... 10763.html I also have experience with universals. It all depends on your level of paranoia when deciding on hubcentric vs universal. I've used both for a good while. See if you can find some used version 2 spacers for cheap, that way you don't have to replace your studs. The prices of spacers in used markets are usually very good. I regret buying mine brand new

Is there any downside to using universal? There's a huge difference in pricing between the 2.

The bore size of the universal spacers are larger than the hub's, so they don't fit very snugly. They kind of rattle before you put your wheel on. Some people say they get vibrations from universals. I haven't though. Other than the vibrations, I'm not sure of the downsides to running universals. And yeah universals are like $20 for two I think lol

If you're running heavy wheels do not go with universals. It's unsafe and yes they do make the car vibrate if you're speeding.

Since you're going with universals, at least you're choosing a good brand. Kyo-ei/Project Kics is pretty well known

This might be a dumb question.. But Is it bad to run spacers in the front and the rear?

With my new setup I'm planning to go 19x8 in front and 19x9.5 in rear. How many mm spacers should I run?

oh so you're like me! I'm running 20x9.5 front 20x10 rear +40 all around. using 10mm spacers and I like how the car sits :dblthumb:

I think it's a personal opinion thing tho, +30 offset looks aggressive imo.

Glad I could help!

Yep, on Eibachs, coils hopefully after some priority performance mods. My only advice is; don't go the cheap route when it comes to spacers, it really affects your ride quality and it becomes unsafe sometimes. Sorry for Hijacking the thread OP! :p

Temporarily I'm running universals, just wanted to see how the car would sit and if it would rub or something. But I'm definitely going with Ichiba V1 in a week or so.

Nopes. No rubbing at all. But I'm sure when I go on coils I'll have to adjust some stuff.

Ok good. I'm planning to run 225/35 tires all around. What you running? I just don't want to rub on coils lol

245/35ZR20. I dunno you shouldn't rub with 19s and +30 offset, but again I'm no expert. I'm sure you'll figure something out :p

Reviving this thread. Whats the max size spacers I could get without having to go with extended studs? Also my wheels have a 45 offset so what size should I be looking for to sit flush?

Pretty sure it's 10mm, I think I'm gonna order these soon: http://www.ebay.com/itm/10mm-HUBCENTRIC ... 0907349850 anybody have any thoughts on these?

and it depends on what your width is.
