Space Hulk

So, even though this is predominantly an electronic/video game forum I felt the need to post up my latest game purchase.

Games Workshop decided to re-release Space Hulk! In limited numbers too, so I thought I should pick up my copy before they all got snatched up. Only set me back $100. Yeah, that's right - for a board game. One of the benefits of being an adult kid is that I can get the toys I want.

The box weighs a ton! I was at the local game store and when people asked to see a copy the clerk always said, "Use two hands."

Look at the contents, all those brave space marines and mindless genestealers, waiting to have at one another.



Can't wait to paint them up and play!

I'm disappointed that it was only released as a high price limited edition. I never played the original but have always heard great things about it. I'd love to own the new version but I guess that won't happen.

I wouldn't even mind the pricetag...but apparently these are already completely sold out so I can't get it anyway.

id love to pick this up. Sadly all my friends who used to play 40k have moved away. grrrr

I don't know how to play these boardgames. Only board game I can play is Monopoly....

This is just like Monopoly, except instead of buying properties the Space Marines explore a derelict space vessel filled with mindless aliens and try to complete their mission before they get gacked.

Ok, its nothing like Monopoly unless when you play the player with the Car token tries to run over the Dog.
