Southern CA exhaust shops?

I need to put a new muffler with a silencer on my car. is there any good shops in SO cal that will do a good job at a fair price? i can either buy the muffler from the shop, or supply it myself. any help will be appreciated. Thank you

valley muffler sucks: weld slags, exhaust leak, unethical business attitude.

you're better off looking around locally in san diego

I can tell you that most tuner shop with adequate equipment and experience can do 10X better than an average exhaust shop. I remember seeing some exhaust work done while I was waiting at xs-engineering, it was damn good, the amount of time and effort/trial and effort put into a custom exhaust.. wow

If a certified master tech is the best place you can take your car to then a muffler shop is absolutely the worst.

im not even looking for a custom exhaust, i just need another muffler welded on. i have an Apexi GT spec exhaust for when i put my SR back in, but in the mean time i just need something that will work and keep me out of trouble with the law...

then ANY muffler shop is your friend, they mostly have the same crappy weld

if not then you can always go with a stock one

Laguna muffler - Laguna Hills(949)770-6559. I think they do the best because he welds everything., they usually work on dealership cars or long time customers, so that means youll be in and out in no time.

Last time I went there I need the primary cat you know the one that costs like $800 from dealer, well he got me that for about $400 and gave me the second cat for free.

I do not know how their works is but 400$ for 2 cats is a killing, you can buy a catco cat for 40$ each online or ebay. So about 300$ for labor? sound a bit shady to over charge so much

I went down to this shop on Valley and Sunset in city of industry, awhile ago to have my cat. and muffler welded. Probably about a year n a half ago. And there's been no issues so far. Luck? I dunno but the guy was cool too.

maybe kind of a drive for you... but speedway muffler in Rowland Heights. Ask for Serge... the guy does a great job
