Went to a big fun car show/flea market yesterday in Southhampton PA with my neighbors. It was held on an abandoned airport runway. One of my neighbors has a stock ’88 Fox body Mustang GT Vert, the other has a C5 with ghost flame paint job and lambo doors. Otherwise it’s stock. I brought my Z despite it not being collectible. The vette took home a trophy.

Some pics:

Real variety of cars: Antiques, street rods, muscle cars, fun cars

Image

nice Shelby

Image

1941 Ford Willy's army jeep, completely stocked.

Image

1968 Amphicar. Spoke with the owner, who's owned it for 32 years. Nice restoration. Car really gets used in 'da water. the front tires act as rudders

Image
Image

Beautiful street rod

Image

Something you don't see often, 4 door Ford Maverick with a big ol nitrous bottle in the trunk.

Image

My friend's Fox body beside my car...

Image

Beautiful Model A pickup

Image

My friend's vette with the scissor doors and ghost flames. there was an enormous Bonneville behind it.

Image

my car, unfortunately no trophies for track rash. there was one other 350Z there.

Image

nice old Triumph TR-3A

Image

Bertone X1/9 (Fiat) sitting beside a Checker Marathon (think restored old NYC cab)

Image

Old MGB with a 350ci V-8 stuffed in it. (sounded pretty nice)

Image

a 1967 Ford Beavertail car carrier (a few feet shorter than mine). I don't see many beavertails, this was in nice shape.

Image

1987 Testarossa. I chatted with the owner for awhile, nice chap. He also owns a Series 2 Lotus Europa. A car I almost bought right after college.
The TR has 29K miles, very clean.

Image

Sweet Nash Healy. Sexy

Image

Baby Boomers might remember this old Milk truck. It was recently restored.

No, not really. Havng the hood open was a requirement for being judged.

Besides it not being gay like a frigging ex-mom hand-me-down QX4 with Alteeza tail lights? :slap:

I park in the judged area simply so I can park/hang out with my friends (who have cars that generate trophies) without having to separate/walk up to a quarter mile if I parked in the general parking area instead. Since most of the shows I take the Z to are free to enter, why shouldn't I enter it. It cleans up pretty well.

Besides my little Z generates plenty discussion with folks who might not yet know about NICO. Plus the big red Stoptechs I have on her generates chat about track events, of which I do many.

Nala, didn't you enter your mom's suv in a stereo comp at Carlisle even though many of the other cars there had stereos that were an order of magnitude more expensive than yours?

Dude, he has top of the line equipment.

MTX woofers with a Lanzar amp, lol. If you look closely, you can see his detailing wax too for when his car gets pissed on. :chuckle:

Nala, haven't you dug yourself a big enough hole in the past few years here?

I rode in a TR as a passenger (an '87 I think). It was nice. Had some real thrust, but there were other models I liked better.

Maybe you should post some more about an industry you're clueless on. And yeah I was in Baja 3 weeks ago tearing up part of the Baja 500 course.
