Hey guys. i'm from NY but i'm gonna be goin down to FIU, im movin down august 16th. i figured since i don't know anyone down there, i'd start here. i'll be goin to the biscayne bay campus so i'll prob get a place moreso north miami. i'm a hospitality and tourism major with a focus on fine dining. i've been in this business my whole life, and currently have been working at a place here for 8 years, and i am currently the manager. i also have an associates in the field. what are some good 4 star/ zagat rated excellent restaurants down there, aka really expensive ones. i want to start finding places to fax my resume to so i can secure a job before i go down there, or atleast have an interview my first week. if anyone can help me out with the names of the expensive and busy restaurants in miami, or miami beach, anywhere in the area, etc. that'd be awesome.

thanks

You might want to try South Beach for some expensive restaurants. Ocean Drive and 5th Street over by Washington and Collins are full of them.
