I live in Redondo Beach and am looking for a trusted Mechanic to service my 2010 Infiniti G37 Journey Sedan.

I have about 30k miles on my ride and am also looking for suggestions on some preventative maintenance that should be done. I'd take it to the dealer but then again we all know how they man handle you and over charge completely.

Thanks,

Welcome to NICO! Check the regional forums for some local help. But really, any Infiniti dealer would be fine.

As for preventative maintenance, check the G-series FAQ (link in my sig)....but at 30k the only thing really needed is the in-cabin air filter.

hey, I'm in Redondo as well.

For regular maintenance, I go to Hiro automotive on hawthorne. I found them through Yelp. I've had 3 (or is it 4?) oil changes with them now, they're good and quick. They give a parts discount if you want them to use a filter you bought.

for the Infiniti Technical bulletin stuff, I take the time and trouble to go to Parkway Infiniti up by Magic Mountain. Far, I know , but an extra hour or so round trip is totally worth it. they are professional, and courteous.

and if it's for tires, I recommend Pacific Pitt Stop in El Segundo. I found them through yelp too. I took my car in for a screw in the tire. They checked and said it didn't penetrate. That was over a month ago, and haven't had an issue with the tire, so they were right. Didn't charge a thing even though they took the time to test the tire after removing the screw.

If you want tinting, All-Points Automotive is great. I got my car tinted there right after I bought it. 3 years later, tint job looks just like it did back when they put it on, no bubbles.

Good luck!

btw, I quit going to Hiro. Their customer service has been rather spotty. Not that they have to be happy to see me. I'm not their (or anyone's) only customer, but at least they could say hi. it's just "what?"

I go to Takeda now, in Gardena. And Takeda is much closer to the freeday, near the 405/110/91 cluster.
