Hi guys, I'm trying get some Clevite 77 tri-metal bearings for my CA18 rebuild but I'm having a hard time finding a website with them in stock or at a reasonable price.

Can you guys point me out to good website with them? Don't really want to go with ACL, specially with the horror stories seen around here.

Thanks in advance.

I couldn't find them either, but my builder had a source for them somewhere. Have you tried contacting a local engine builder and see if they can get anything for you?

+1 for going to an engine builder/machine shop. That's how I got the ones for Casey's motor (cbh148)

Has your crank been cut? As I recall we could only get the Clevites in standard. In undersizes we had to opt for King bearings, which I would assume are still plenty good since the very reputable machine/race shop that did the sourcing uses them.

Hi guys, thanks for your replies. I actually ordered from that sipracingmailorder website over a week ago, but it hasn't been processed until today and I don't even know if they are alive, so I'm about to cancel that order.

I asked the guys at 240sxmotoring if they could get them for me, since they list KA and SR bearings, and they say they can custom order them from me, which would be my next option I guess.

Since I am not in the US there isn't much available locally. Just hope I don't have to get anything else than STD. My mechanic isn't too confident on going with oversized bearings and cut crank, due to the local machine shop tech.

Heck, I was even going to call the nissan dealer to see if they would carry OEM bearings.

Ended up buying them from 240sxmotoring.com. Very helpfull and willing to source the parts for me.

Now a quick question about valve lifters. The pseudo machine shop that is working my engine (remember Im not in the US) would prefer to replace all the Hidraulic Lifters in the Head. Is it worth it and/or recommended? They are replacing valve seals and installing brand new Tomei springs in it. What do you guys think about this DNJ brand?

Thx again.
