source for Y34 LED Tails? '04 M45

Sitting at a red light with 2 cars ahead of me, I get rear-ended by a driver lunchin' behind the wheel of a full-sized Honda Odessy van. caused a 4-car chain reaction accident. Man these Y34 '04 M45's can take a hit! back bumper cover is trashed, front bumper cover repairable, but got a crack in one of my LED taillights and need to buy another set. I had a set of the ones with additional dark inside tinting in the housing, hard to come by. Anyone know where I can buy another set? I tried the company I originally got them from, JZ INTERNATIONAL JAPAN, but they are out...

That sux man, Sorry to hear about your car. A least you are not hurt. Just try to remember the y34 is just a thing........ But it is a fukin rad thing! Search the user name yokota180sx. He is an american stationed in japan(I think he said one time he is a jet mechanic in the air force so he should be somewhat tech savy and able to get you what you ask for).

He slangs jdm parts on the side and says he can beat any prices. I havent dealt with him but I have read a lot of his post in the VIP forum on NICO and it seems to me he knows his stuff.

Yikes. Sorry to hear the bad news. Glad no one was injured ... did you make sure that you did not snap your head back too hard - sometimes the pain does not come till much later!

Thanks guys for all the great advice and well wishes. I was able to secure another set of used LED tails from Japan and will use the insurance money to get that set (costs ~$600) and get my M fixed to perfection.

I still have my factory red ones for use until the others arrive, or I may get a bit ghetto and put some clear packing tape on the cracked one until the replacement set arrives! LOL *thinking* I seriously don't want to misrepresent my M using tape. ewwwww.

Once I remove this current cracked LED tail, I will see if anyone can bond & epoxy it back to perfection and put the set in the garage for safe keeping, cause you neva' know...
