The bulbs for the map reading lights (on either side of the sunroof switch) in the 92 Q45 are miniatures of the tail light lamps (little miniature gumball machines with opposing prongs on the base. They are 10 watts. I have been to Kragen and AutoZone, but they do not carry these bulbs in a wattage higher than 4 watts.

Has anyone else researched this? am I doomed to buy the replacement at a dealer?

ThanksKen K

How bad could the dealer prices be? I paid $8 for two dome light bulbs, sure it pretty high but you don't pay it every week.

Paul,

It is just that I hate to encourage them... ;-)

Actually, I went to the Nissan dealership and they ordered them: $2.10 each... not too bad... :-)
