Does anyone know of a Source of Supply for a replacement HomeLink Mirror for a 2009 Maxima that would have the HomeLink buttons "backlit?"Granted, memorizing the placement of 3 buttons isn't that difficult but having the buttons backlit would come in handy when I'm a bit "bleary eye'd" after a long day.

ThanksLt

Hmmm...I don't think I've ever seen one with backlit buttons. Do they even make them that way?

I hope they do. I got spoiled with my old car (300m) backlit buttons on the console but not on the mirror. I continue to fumble for the buttons in the dark! If not, I will just turn on the interior lights to find them until I get familiar.

I have a 2009 Maxima S model and it does not have a homelink mirror, do you know if I can replace my mirror with a mirror for an SV model which has the homelink in the mirror? Do I have necessary wiring to hook homelink mirror up? If I can, and you replace yours, I would consider buying it from you.

imazmanP.S. Trade in my Z which had homelink but buttons did not light up. Wife has Frontier w/ homelink but buttons do not light up either.

I don't know for sure if the car has the pre-wiring for the homelink mirror, but it shouldn't be a big deal even if it doesn't. I'm assuming it does, though, as all homelink mirrors are add-on options (even the "factory" ones to my knowledge).

If it isn't pre-wired for it, though, you should be able to just tap into the map light power. All the mirror needs is power; everything else is internal.
