This thread is active on my Porsche forum and I thought I would pass it on.

In case anyone is interested this place sells rebuilt Q injectors for $35.99. +$12 refundable core.

According to their tech guy a rebuild includes:

Rewind coils if out of ohmic specNew pintlesNew plastic capsNew o-ringsAll units are cleaned, flowtested, and come with a 12 month warranty

I've paid more than that for used ones on my Q and I still had to send them out for cleaning. Might be worth a shot next time I feel like pulling the plenum for fun.

I'll just chime in here with my usual comment on remans, although I've never tried these before. When I replaced all of mine with reman. units back in 1998 I had a bleed-down problem that caused hard starts after a hot soak due to the flooding. Pulled them all and replaced them with new OEM and it cured it.

I've heard a lot of bad stories about remanufactured injectors with leak down problems and reliability issues - but these may be from a different source.
