Source for 720 Pickup Part - Windshield Wiper Pivot

Hello,

I have a 1980 Datsun 720 pickup on which the windshield wipers abruptly stopped. Examination revealed that the passenger side wiper pivot had broken loose from its mount. The pivot is made of plastic and just broke into several pieces. I don't think it can be glued back together. I need a new piece. It is in the center of the base of the windshield and is the piece that the passenger side wiper arm attaches to.

Does anyone have any advice on where I might be able to get a replacement for this part?

Finding a brand new one I'd have to do some searching myself... but finding a used one in a junkyard shouldn't be too difficult.
If a new one is what you really want, there's an ebay seller that goes by datsun-kentigo that you could contact and ask if he has any new ones for sale. He's located in Mexico so shipping would be about 3 to 4 weeks but there's a good chance he would have what you're looking for. There are also sellers from Thailand and a few other South Asian countries that still have tons of new parts for these trucks as they are still manufacturing parts for them in those countries.
To find these sellers on ebay, do a search for "datsun 720" under parts and accessories, then narrow the search by selecting the options at the side of the page.
I've dealt with Datsun-kentigo several times for things like windshield washer bottles and pumps, fuel sending units, door pins, etc,etc, and other hard to find parts, they always take 3 to 4 weeks to come in but the parts are a prefect match and brand new, never installed condition.
