I suggest you jack your car up on the side thats in question then try to wiggle it... Sounds like a wheel bearing to me.

I did that and nothing happens it just sat there firm in place but it doesn't do that often only if I'm on the throttle and then abruptly come off the throttle I would feel the slight wobble

it could be the center bearing if you have a 2 piece driveshaft, or transmission mount, or diff mounts. mine does the same thing, when the bushings get old and worn down the car tends to have a "clunky" feel to the powertrain. try starting and stopping a few times (10-20 times at low mph) and see if you feel anything. I notice mine doing it stuck in traffic and revving up and taking my foot off the gas like you said

@PAintballa45 you hit the nail on the head EXACTLY so my question to you is If I go with a single piece driveshaft do I still need that center bearing/carrier mount?

Nope, no center bearing needed for one piece. For a good deal on a one piece DS, hit up David at Shaftmasters. http://www.shaftmasters.com/

Tell him Aaron from NICO sent you. He's a vendor on here, and usually can get good deals for members.

z1 has one for $268 i think, wicked good price. make sure you get an n/a one (4 bolts on the diff) or the TT if you have the TT rear diff (6 bolts on the diff). The u-joint / yoke is the same for n/a and tt trannys.

@PAintballa yeah that's the one I'm ordering as soon as possible cause it's starting to really get to me now and I have plans to look further into the wheel bearing because today as I was driving home from work the rear passenger tire felt as if it was either loose or flat so I'm still stumped as to what it could be

Quality vs. price. Just gonna say that. I did a side by side comparison of mine vs. my roommate's Z1 shaft, and the Shaftmasters is way better, and I'll bet he can be VERY competitive with Z1's price.

Also, Z1 has had problems with vibrations in the past. Shaftmasters has never had an issue with vibrations.

@Ace2cool When you say "vibrations" what exactly do you mean, I've seen some places they are saying the shifter itself vibrates can you elaborate on this for me if possible

This. It will vibrate is what I mean. That's the only way to put it. Yes the shifter will vibrate, but only because the driveshaft is vibrating, which in turn, is vibrating the transmission, whilh has a bracket connecting to the shifter.

Z1 recommends "rotating it 1/4 turn clockwise" to "fix" the issue. Some have reported that it got better after doing so, but think about the physics of what is being recommended. They're saying to rotate, what they claim to be a centrifugally balanced driveshaft, which means equally balanced in a rotating mass, and turn it 1/4 turn. If it's unbalanced, that won't help. It will just put the unbalanced portion 1/4 turn offset from where it was in the first place. Crap like that sounds shady to me.

David at shaftmasters guarantees no vibrations, because they only use quality components, and ACTUALLY balance their driveshafts, ensuring no quality control errors.

Well according to how things go I'll just run with replacing the midshaft bearing....... and do more research on the driveshaft

Not really the best option IMHO. Replace a known-to-fail part with another known-to-fail part. I'd just replace with a one piece and call it a day.

It honestly doesn't but with customs charging us with 65% duty on all auto parts it's kind of tough to go with the best choice first
