sounds like doo doo!

I recently installed my headers and now my exaust sounds like doo doo. I have a standard canister type apexi muffler which sounded great before the headers but now its more obnoxious and louder. I know headers create more flow which creates more noise. I put my silencer in(back pressure) but its not enough.Anyone been here before?tenabe has a new line of exausts that are said to be a quieter system. im looking into that, but what would you suggest?

if you dont have a cat on your exhuast, get it on. and then a resonator. thatll silence it pretty well... if not, ditch the muff and get one with a chamber or two. straight throughs can make loud *** exzhuast. i have stillen 4-1 heade.r.. cat.. res.. 2 1/4... and a straight through muff. still loud.

Is your check engine light on?Stillen provided my headers as well.What year altima do you abuse? mine is an 01. I love it but this exaust sound is killing me.Nothin worse than soundin like a CRX salvage yard reject. Thanx for your input i'll look into that.So your still loud,but can you live with it's new tone?
